EVENT DESIGN :: CONCUSSION
Concussion is an original composition, written for
large-scale, conducted improvisation that incorporated
musical performers, video artists, and audience
participation in the demolition of an automobile.

This work served as the basis for a day-long
exhibition held at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center,
which I also curated.

EVENT DESIGN :: UNSILENT NIGHT
UnSilent Night is a composition for a roving orchestra of 40+ boomboxes, composed by Phil Kline. Bent Frequency brought this work of urban exploration through sound to Atlanta on Dec. 4, 2003.

We organized it, promoted the event and planned
the route.

EVENT DESIGN :: BENT FREQUENCY
With Bent Frequency, Matthew Cowley and I experimented with immersive environments that recontextualized the music
to better connect with the listener.

LEFT:   The stage we created in the lobby of the
        Rialto Center for Lost Hysterical Man.
CENTER: Lighting tests for some ideas I had (and we ended up using)
        for our Extended Radio Format show.
